Rebrand a national salon chain to revive the company after bankruptcy and acquisition.
Hair Cuttery Family of Brands is the new moniker given to the parent company of well-known salon chain Hair Cuttery after new owners acquired the business out of bankruptcy as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Within the family of brands are Hair Cuttery and Bubbles, two salon chains operating in over 500 locations across the east coast, and CIBU, their exclusive in-salon haircare line.
Brought in on the ground floor to help rebuild the internal organization as the Brand & Creative Manager, I quickly built the creative team of four and established team processes and new brand strategy & guidelines. Over the course of 10 months I participated in and led the rebranding of all three sub-brands, including a complete repackaging of the product line, while simultaneously supporting all internal departments and their creative needs.
